The Oral History Network of Ireland is pleased to invite you to join us for our 2021 online conference, ‘Storytelling and Oral History,’ taking place 18th and 19th June. The conference features two full days of presentations, workshops, and more. Professor Lynn Abrams (University of Glasgow) will deliver the keynote – ‘Tall Tales and Storytelling: Reflections on Two Decades of Life History Research’ – and a workshop. The plenary panel, ‘Telling Contemporary Stories’ will be chaired by Virginia Teehan (CEO, The Heritage Council) with speakers Sarah-Anne Buckley (NUI Galway), Theo Lynn (Dublin City University), and Brenda Malone (National Museum of Ireland).More details and a provisional programme are available on our conference webpage.Registration is now open via the conference webpage, with discount rates available for OHNI members.
